The 58th Annual Children’s Trout Derby, hosted by the Milford Striped Bass Club, will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Milford Duck Pond on North Street in Milford, Connecticut. Open to all children ages 15 and under, this free event requires no registration and will be held at both the upper and lower ponds.
Children will have the chance to fish for prizes for the largest Brook, Brown, Golden, and Rainbow Trout, while also enjoying a casting contest and raffle. Supported by major sponsors Devon Rotary and the City of Milford, this beloved annual event is a fun and memorable tradition for local families.
