                                                  SERVICE ABOVE SELF

The Devon Rotary Club of Connecticut is a volunteer organization of business and professional women and men who want to make a positive difference in the community.

On October 4, 1966, the Club was chartered.  Dr. Oliver Andrus, formed the club and was its first President. The new entity was sponsored by the Milford Rotary Club.

From its onset, Devon Rotary gained a reputation as a friendly and fun loving organization.  We are a hands-on club, helping those in need in the Milford community and around the world. Our passionate members are dedicated to the Rotary motto, 'Service Above Self.'

We annually provide more than $25,000 to local charities and organizations thanks to our various fundraisers.

As part of Rotary International, one of the world’s largest service organizations with 1.4 million members, Devon Rotary is also involved globally, working on projects to provide clean water, improve education and, most famously, help in the fight against polio. Since 1988, Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign (EndPolio.org) has immunized more than 2.5 billion children in 122 countries and reduced polio cases worldwide by 99.9 percent.

The club, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016, has a membership of 68 Rotarians who reside or work in Milford.

We also hope you'll consider joining Rotary. Please navigate our site to discover more about the important work of the Rotary Club of Devon.
